How to Paint a Summer Flower Garden.

Learn to paint a Summer Flower Garden. A harmony of summer colorful flowers. Sunflower, canna lily, chrysanthemum and periwinkle. This is my back yard at Clina Polloni ART Studio.

This is a simple painting for a beginner artist. You will learn the basics of color mixing, blending and texture.

Supply for this painting:

Canvas: 11″x 14”

Black fine point Sharpie.
Easel (a simple table metal easel is fine).
Paper towel.
For Acrylics: Plastic/paper plate and glass.
For Oils: Refined Linseed Oil with Turpernoi. To clean the brushes Turpernoi. Glass container to mix media.

Colors:

1. Titanium White
2. Cadmium Yellow Light
3. Cadmium Yellow Medium
4. Cadmium Orange
5. Cadmium Red Light
6. Cadmium Red Medium or Carmine or Scarlet
7. Magenta or Violet de Cobalt or Thio Violet
8. Dioxazine Purple
9. Cobalt Blue
10. Ultramarine Blue
11. Permanent Green
12. Sap Green
13. Deep Green or Prussian Green
14. Yellow Ochre
15. Burnt Sienna
16. Alizarin Crimson

This painting can be done in 2 medias, acrylics or oils.
