Fishing Village Seascape
This painting is a recreation of the imagination of a fishing town in the Outer Banks in old days with a steamboat, they were crucial for transportation in the 19th and early 20th-century.
Supply:
Canvas: 11″x 14”
Black ultra fine point Sharpie.
Easel (a simple table metal easel is fine).
Paper towel.
For Acrylics: Plastic/paper plate and glass.
For Oils: Refined Linseed Oil with Turpernoi. To clean the brushes Turpernoi. Glass container to mix media.
Pencil and eraser
Brushes: 1 fine #0 brush, 1 #2 and 1 #8 flat brushes, and 1 #2 round bristle brush.
Colors:
- Titanium White
- Cadmium Yellow Light
- Yellow Ochre
- Flesh, Portrait Pink or Pale Pink
- Cadmium Red Medium
- Alizarin Crimson
- Sap Green
- Deep Green or Prussian Green
- Cerulean Blue
- Ultramarine Blue
- Burnt Sienna
- Deep Brown or Burnt Umber
- Ivory Black
This painting can be done in 2 medias, acrylics or oils.
