This is a simple painting for a person that is starting to paint and wants to learn colors combinations and composition.
The small, fragile, brilliantly red poppy is probably the world’s most popular wildflower in the meadow.
Acrylics or Oils painting class taught by Clina Polloni.
Supply for this painting:
Canvas: 11″x 14”
Black ultra fine point Sharpie.
Easel (a simple table metal easel is fine).
Paper towel.
For Acrylics: Plastic/paper plate and glass.
For Oils: Refined Linseed Oil with Turpernoi. To clean the brushes Turpernoi. Glass container to mix media.
Pencil and eraser
Brushes: Fine #0 brush, #2, #8 flat brushes and 1 #2 round bristle brush.

- Cadmium Yellow Light
- Cadmium Yellow Medium
- Cadmium Red Deep
- Permanent Green
- Deep Green
- Ultramarine Blue
- Alizarin Crimson
- Dioxazine Purple
- Ivory Black
This painting can be done in 2 medias, acrylics or oils.
