Marta was born in Asuncion, Paraguay and emigrated from Paraguay to the U.S. in 2002 shortly after her husband unexpectedly passed away. She’s the proud mother of four grown children, two girls and two boys.
While living Paraguay, Marta and her husband owned and operated a medical and dental supply business, which is still operated by her oldest son, Mauricio. She now lives in Cary, NC and is employed as the Housekeeping Manager for a local hotel.
Marta loves her new life living in the Triangle area and says, ”Here I have made many wonderful friends who have become part of my family. I thoroughly enjoy our art group’s get together and the moments we all share relaxing and painting. I love the arts and I’m very thankful for what I’ve learned from Clina. Before joining the Arts By Us Group, I had never even held a bush or a canvas, but now I’m having a wonderful time painting. I now realize that it’s never too late to learn something new. That is the love for art and being able to be creative myself.”
