Opening Reception of the
2019 Spotlight on Wake Forest Artists Exhibit
The Wake Forest Public Art Commission (PAC) will host a special reception Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. until noon to formally open its 2019 Spotlight on Wake Forest Artists Exhibit. The gathering will take place inside the Arts Annex at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 407 Brooks Street, Wake Forest, NC 27587
The reception will have an informal, open house-style format, so you may drop in anytime between 9 a.m. and noon. Program begin at 10 a.m. PAC members and several featured artists will be on hand throughout the morning to answer questions and share information about the selected works of art.
Each painting is a mural applied to the facade of a buildings in downtown Wake Forest. The “Orange Reflections in the River” is at Taylor Street Park Sprayground, 416 N. Taylor St. with a plaque with information about the artist. Maps highlighting the locations of the paintings/murals will be available.
